Benefits from being situated close
to Snowdonia National Park
The Polish Village at Penrhos, is situated close to Snowdonia
National Park which boasts some of the most breathtaking scenery
in the country.
There are few areas that offer such a wealth of natural beauty,
complimented by excellent activities that allow you to take full
advantage of the surrounding wildlife ranging from: sailing on
a mountain lake to cycling on designated cycle routes.
The National Park covers 800 square miles stretching from Conwy
to Machynlleth. Scenery includes miles of beautiful coastline
and spectacular wooded valleys. Snowdon itself is the highest
peak in Wales and England and stands at 1,085 metres above sea
level. There is a train that runs on Snowdon Mountain Railway
that allows visitors another way in which to appreciate the glorious
views. The service runs at regular intervals from Llanberis to
the summit. It is believed that on fine days the views are unrivalled
- and it is highly recommended that visitors take the opportunity
to experience this dramatic experience.
