Rooms are comfortable and help
is always at hand
Fully qualified nurses, care assistants and domestic staff ensure
the smooth running of the Care Home which is registered with the
Care Standards Inspectorate for Wales to provide residential and
nursing care. The unit consists of 40 single rooms and 2 double
rooms. All rooms have a wash hand basin and most rooms have an
en-suite toilet.
Staff are supported by a range of professional who visit the
Care unit on a regular basis eg, physiotherapist, chiropodist,
hairdressers. A local GP holds a surgery at the unit making it
easier for residents to attend.
Specialised equipment is available to maintain the comfort and
safety of residents, including: air mattresses, lifting and standing
hoists, Jacuzzi, mini bus with wheelchair access.
Residents are encouraged to take part in activities on site and
further afield.
A garden at the centre of the home offers a place to relax and
a chapel provides a spiritual retreat.
