Cycling
Cycling is recognised as an ideal way in
which to exercise and also to enjoy the splendid surrounding countryside.
There are a variety of cycle routes and trails many of which are
fully marked and have accompanying leaflets from the Tourist Information
Centre.
There are places where you can hire a bike
should you not have your own.

Fishing
There are a varied assortment of rivers
that offer quality fishing coupled with traditional Welsh hospitality,
surrounded by beautiful countryside and coastline. The assortment
of rivers offer a combination of tranquility and scenery where
you can catch wild brown trout, grayling, salmon and sea trout.
For stillwater gamefishing, then the rich
shallow waters of Talyllyn provides an excellent opportunity for
brown trout fishing and the possibility for sea trout and salmon
in late season.For roach, perch,
pike and gudgeon locals recommend Llyn Tegid.
The Welsh coastline also offers some of
the finest shore fishing whether it be spinning, float fishing,
or bottom fishing from rocks. Depending on conditions, fishing
the surf for bass at Porth Neigwi can be somewhat rewarding.

Golf
In the surrounding area of the Polish Village
there is the opportunity to experience some of the finest golf
courses that form part of the natural landscape of Snowdonia.
Courses range from links and parkland courses
to hill courses set amongst some of the most splendid picturesque
settings. These include Pwllheli, Abersoch, and Nefyn Golf Courses.
Courses vary and suit all levels ability.
There are also a range of driving ranges (inlcuding one at Penrhos)
for those visitors wishing to practice their swing. Wherever you
choose to play you are guaranteed a friendly welcome.

This particular activity is ideal for those
visitors wishing to explore the rolling hills and beaches. Facilities
can be found at Snowdonia, Llyn Peninsula and the Cambrian coastline
that offer an experience on horseback that is totally unique to
Wales. There are a variety of trails that allow you to ride whilst
appreciating the glorious views whether it be countryside or coastline.
Pony trekking is also available for all
the family.

Rural footpaths lead gently to stretches
of coastline and cliff-top paths that provide access to secluded

For those visitors that crave for the more
demandinding walks Snowdonia is renowned for its ample hill walking
trails. Trails are marked and supporting leaflets can be found
at the local Tourist Information Centre.
